Has anyone got the cutter made yet? My servo will not be in until Thursday. Curious to know how it knows when to cut? Especially if it's a remote bowden setup.

OK. Got the Chameleon up and running on the Ender 3. The changes are working fine. The tips could use a little work, but so far I'm happy with the result. If I have any problems is with the first color. I used the mode 3 gcode generator, but I assume there there is something that needs to go in the startup gcode so that the printer and the chameleon each know where the filament is? Or to ask more clearly, does T0 need to be loaded into the Extruder on start or just be at the extruder? Do we start out on home?

Just got my Chameleon a day early. Not ready to install it tonight but I will get started early in the morning. I did have time to check out what was in the box as well as power it up and run it through some cycles. Impressed with the quality of the printed parts. Everything ran smoothly. I have 2 printers, will initially install on the Ender 3 Pro with a BMG extruder clone, the extruder has already been "fixed". I don't think that one will be any problem. Will also test it out with my IDEX frankenprinter. That one will be more fun. If I get it figured out there, that is where I will probably leave it. Everything arrived in good order.

Got my 3D Chameleon on order. Should be in on Saturday. I have 2 printers, an Ender 3 Pro and an JGMaker Artist-D (IDEX). I had to rework the hotends on the Artist-D since the factory one is so terrible. Ok. to make the long story short, I intend to test with both printers. Both printers have BMG clone extruders in a direct drive configuration. Has anyone made a 3dClippy to work with a BMG extruder direct drive?
