Hey Bill,
Originally I was going to use my chameleon on my ender 3 but due to issues with the direct drive setup and the restricting tubes, I have decided to use it on a delta printer I won from an auction. I want to use the digital io pin setup, but I haven't a clue how gcode works. I was hoping you could maybe find the time to write out some gcode for me. It would be great if you could compile just an example of the gcode that I could replace the values for each extruder.
Any help is appreciated,
Braxton
P.S. it would be great if it could be compatible with cura. I am aware of the bugs but I would still like to see just how bad these bugs are and if it is still usable
The only thing you need to do is use the M42 command to toggle the pins in place of the button presses. So where we would normally do a G0 X3 Y3, you simply replace that with the M42 P{pin} S1 and the G0 X-3 Y-3 would then turn it back off with the M42 P{pin} S0. As for Cura, check out the recent post I made about Kiri:moto... it has a sample you can edit... Kiri:Moto and Cura use the exact same gcode.
