Im wondering where the best place to put the trigger switch is on the ender 5 setup. I have it mocked up in place in the front right corner. im trying to place it off the build area to keep as much build surface as possible. This setup would keep is so the only way the button could be triggered is intentionally. My issue is this, the position of the switch would be a negative coordinate. But when i tried to set minimum for that stepper motor with Sonic pad it wont let me set negative values. I wondering if i can make my max bed size 360 or so on that axis in order to move the "0" point farther away? or is there a better place to mount the sensor? im not 100 percent sure on the best place to mount it without it being triggered accidently during bed mesh or printing. Thanks so much. Ive got pretty much everything else ready to test at this point so hopefully this can get me going this weekend

If you're using a Creality main board still, then you can actually set it up to use a spare I/O instead of using a physical switch. Green wire goes to the signal pin from the board, and black goes to a ground. But if you still want the switch, then you can literally place it anywhere... all you need to do is tell the gcode generator where on the X or Y axis it is. The Ender 5 can have it at the front along the X axis (Y all the way to the front, regardless of what that value is) anywhere that is convenient.
That way it's in a specific spot on the X and Y axis only and not necessarily only on one axis.
