I am thinking about getting chamaleon but i have a vyper so i want to make sure the unit would work and see if there are any modfications outside of taking off the end of filament sensor?

Yep, it'll work great on the Vyper... you don't even need to take the filament sensor off, you can simply leave a piece of filament inside to keep it triggered.
The only thing you might need to do is extend the switch location with a small spacer... but if you do need it, I can help you edit the mount.
