Hi, i red on q&a and saw some posts and videos on chameleon with direct drive, but just to recheck before buying :)
I have Ender 3 pro with microswiss direct drive and like to install 4 color chameleon on it and using Cura.
What are your suggestions/advices for this specific instalation. Can it be done? Do i need to modify code in Cura? i beleive that behinde Y motor bar code are screws for mounting chameleon switch?
Thank you in advanced.

yes it can be done
Yep... it'll work just fine on that set up.
How did we get the filament to engage the extruder gears with this set up? The pressure on the gears requires the lever to be pushed upon the filament load.
@mindseye3 You need to reduce the tension on the drive to the point that it will grab and load. If you tighten it down too tight, it will apply way too much force to the filament. Also, make sure the extruder motor is running as the filament reaches it... and not after... both motors need to be running at the same time for it to load properly.
Hey! I just finished this setup that may be your solution!!! I've have been having tons of issues getting this going but now I have throughput from all 4 "Extruders"

@Bill this works really solid for Direct Drive setups I have found
Nice! Thanks for posting this!
