I currently own a Neptune 4 and a 4Plus. My Fiancé and I have decided to attach the 3d Chameleon to the Neptune 4. I was able to attach the switch to the X-axis. it appears to be able press fine with no restrictions. Our issue is that our gcode doesn't appear to be working. We have gotten it start printing with what ever color existed in the machine at the time but it has not been able to change to the next filament. both myself and my fiancé have tried it several times remeasuring and changing the code. but our measurements come out the same. and the machine doesn't change to the next color in the sequence. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I wrote a couple of simple test gcodes to adjust the pulse times for the switch. You'll need to modify this to use your X-Axis parameters. With Bills help i found the delays had to be reduced to compensate for the transition time of the 3mm movement of the activate movement. Adjust down the Test 11 Pulses and Test 22 Pulses delays to determine this adjustment. Both of these tests should be ignored by the 3D Chameleon.

How are you guys hanging the electronics? All of the mounts that I've found don't work for the Neptune 3 Pro (which is basically the same frame as the Neptune 4) and I'm having a tough time modifying something to work.

https://www.printables.com/model/655985-neptune-4-filiment-guide-bowden-mount forgot to link the adapter for the bowden tube, highly recomend gluing in the bowden coupler as i found it could get pulled out. Still fine tuning to try and get everything working, manually tested the filament change and its working as intended.
Looks great, I did a test print of this and seems to fit perfectly on my printer too. Do you have any plans on integrating the 3DClippy as well? I was a bit over exited when I ordered this for my Neptune 4 Pro and didn't realize there would still be a need to design parts for your own printer and I'm not proficient enough with CAD as of yet to tackle it myself...
I would love to but i have only started using cad software so my skills are a bit lacking. If you do try and get the 3D Chameleon setup with it you may need to look into some of the gcode, i noted on the mode 3 setup if you mount it on the z axis doenst look to have the tip shaping so make sure to take that from the mode 2 gcode. Im still testing around trying to get it perfect.
I haven't had time to fully set it up yet been fine-tuning some of my printer setting but as it's the holidays soon I should find time to work with it.
Mounted the switch in the top left, will be adjusting the hight to give me a little more space in the z axis but I haven't had the need to print so high.
Typically, Elegoo machines use a Titan extruder... there is a PTFE tube coupler for Titan extruders that might work, or at least mostly with some minor mods. (The older Titan extruders used a locking mechanism that would keep the PTFE in place without needing this adapter, maybe it's still there?)https://www.printables.com/en/model/473550-3dchameleon-titan-extruder-pc4-m10-lever-arm
Thanks for the reply Bill didnt actully know that i will take a look at that, should be good practice to strip the extruder down. I ended up stumbling upon this as well for anyone else that might be looking for answers. Looks to be a perfect fit as the extruders are almost identical between the 3 & 4. https://www.printables.com/model/538253-neptune-3-pro-filament-guide-ptfe-tube/remixes
any mounts for the x axis? i also want to use that axis, but cant find any mounts,

Could you guys share your GCODE with me? I cannot get my 3D Chameleon to work. I have my switch mounted on the Z-Axis and am in Mode 3. Thanks.

I just ordered this for my Neptune 4 pro. Any tips on getting thing set up would be greatly appreciated!
Hi James, could you show how/where you mounted the switch? How is the 3DChameleon working out for you? Thanks!

I have been able to make adjustments to the model below. And looks like i have got it to fit perfectly
Will start testing to make sure the filament is guided enough.
After that I can post the remix of the model. Hopefully it should be helpful to any Neptune 4 users
Update -- I have ened up ataching the switch on the z axis which seems to work just fine.
My next issue is working out how to attachthe PFTE tube to the extruder, any help would be appreciated.
