It should always start a print with the filament 1" before the Y adapter... in no situations will we ever use otherwise. The gcode automatically loads the first color called for.
That's what I thought, when I went to do the first test print though (4 cubes) it reversed out the filament. Using the K1 profile, so not sure what happened but will try again when I'm able.
