I had to replace the B and C parts in the Chameleon as the tubes fell out of the grips that used the brass compression fittings. I cut the PTFE tubes and they seem to grip well in this. But, it seems tool 1 and 2 pull with less force than 3 and 4 now. Because of this, I printed the +2.0 tension adjusters and put those in. Tool 1 and 2 still pull with less force and have trouble rotating a full spool of filament on a mount (tool 3 and 4 do this fine). Visually, it seems the drive gear is pushed further into the bearings on the tool 3 and 4 side than the tool 1 and 2 side. Any ideas on what I can do to solve this? Thanks.

Anyone running into this issue, please print these new A+ parts to replace your old A parts. They lengthen the unit almost 1mm, which allows you to gain more force on the outter two extruders. https://www.printables.com/model/516300-3dchameleon-replacement-a-parts You might need to readjust your tension tuning sliders to compensate for the larger distances... I suggest you go back to the "default/default" sliders once you print, and tune from there.

Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same issue... 1 and 2 are just not pressing into the bearing like 3 and 4 are which causes my filement to slip :(
I you're seeing them off centered, then the tension +2 for example, won't help that... You need to use the other axis and switch one to a +.25 and the other to a -.25 bearing offset to adjust the center position of the gear between the bearings.
Then adjust the tension accordingly.
hold the chameleon in your hand, not in a 45-degree angle. hold it straight and see if you see a difference. I printed my own and it seemed to pull better
