Here is my K1 Max 3D Chameleon Printer Profile for Orca:
For the E value at load and unload use the distance from your extruder gears to the nozzle in mm. For the P value use the time to go from holding-position to the gears in seconds. I am using faster tip shaping, you can replace that with the original shaping if you want. Also added parts in Start and tool-change gcode to set your Pressure AdvanceChange you button coordinates in start, end, and tool-change gcode sections too.
So, only the latest beta of OrcaSlicer supports the Creality K1 Max.Here's a profile I just created by simply copying the 3 config settings (Start, End and Tool Change GCode) from our published PrusaSlicer profile to the default K1 Max Profile in OrcaSlicer.
I then correct the few variables that had name changes, temperature to nozzle_temperature and max_fan_speed to fan_max_speed. Once those were changed, I also turned on the purge tower and set it the way I like it.
Since the button location and the distances haven't changed, if you have it running in PrusaSlicer, this should just work, as the interaction with the extruder and the 3DChameleon don't change.
The E value is always in mm. (Only P or S are time values.) All you need to do is tune that value up or down to stop it from loading too far and causing it to extruder before it is supposed to.
