Setting up on QIDI X Max 3

if i could explain, i would. the x max 3 is different. it doesnt retract the material fully. it even tells you to pull on the material as its retracting to prevent clogging. so apparently since it doesnt retract it fully on its own. the tip gets stuck inside as it cools. maybe i shouldnt say clogged nozzle and say clogged extruder. dont know, but as i said, im onto a different printer with this. spent way too much time messing with the x max 3. maybe someone else can possibly get it on theirs and post how they did it.

The problem with the latest Qidi 3D Printers is when you unload the filament you must pull on the filament to remove it. I have an idea how I can make this work. Thank God I am an engineer. Anyway. Qidi users will have to add an external extruder with stepper motor dedicated to auto unloading and replacing the filament. Add G-Code to Klipper....I will have a go with the issue first part of the year.

I'm confused by your statement... the 3DChameleon already unloads the extruder... just time it so that it pulls at the same time the stock extruder is unloading. Also, if you adapt the 3DClippy to it, you never need to unload it, so clogging is 100% eliminated.
