While working on configuring an mk2 on a neptune 2 I have whenever it switches to extruder 2 the change gcode block executes but once the print procedures begin the printer switches to extruder 2 on the screen and being there is no extruder hooked to the board for extruder 2 no filament feeds during the printing process. Im using prusa slicer so how would you tell a printer that has two extruders (as the board on the neptune 2 is two extruder capable) to only use extruder 1 when trying to use extruder 2 of the 3D chameleon kit?

So I just managed to get around to putting the second mk2 kit I have on an elegoo neptune 2 printer and it seems that when I attempt to print anything while the filament is fed through the MK2 and tubing down to the stock extruder I get under extrusion. However if I simply feed filament into the extruder (printing as if the mk2 kit isnt installed) the printer prints perfectly fine. I've troubleshot things by taking the Y splitter out of the equation and making sure that there isnt any kind of motor engaged at the selector/motor/cam area so I was wondering if anyone has ever had an issue like this with either the elegoo neptune printers OR ender 3 clone type printers and if so what they did to fix it? The couple options I can think of is to replace the stock motor with something beefier (I prefer to not do this) OR another idea I had was see about re-calibrating the e-steps and give it a bit more filament pushing to try and overcome the under extrusion. Any thoughts/suggestions?

So I am running into the occasion issue of stringing from the filament shaping that gets clogged in the Y splitter. Pretty sure this is due to the temp I am running the filament at but thought I would ask, anyone have any recommendations for preventing stringing so I dont go wasting a bunch of time on idea's that might not work at all? Thanks

So I have purchased a generic BMG extruder and noticed the default f value of 4000 causes it to make a horrible noise when ramming to shape the filament. I've walked the speeds down to 3300 so far and still am getting a terrible noise. Since I have nothing to compare this to what speeds are others using during this process and is your extruder making horrible noise as well? The extruder doesn't make noise at lower feed speeds so I'm pretty sure I'm just moving it to fast during the ramming sequences.

So I'm having the most perplexing issue. For whatever reason filament in the left most path of the Y adapter (associated with t0) doesn't always retract out far enough. It always loads fine but unloading it sometimes seems like it stops near the front coupler. Anyone have any ideas on why? At first I thought slipping but if it was slipping I would expect loading issue. I've double checked its making it out the extruder, and when the issue happens I can wait till t1 is selected and manually back the filament out clearing the path.

So I've been working on getting one of the mk2 kits working and as im working through problems and tuning settings I'm noticing that as the filament is retracted the excess is just hanging out. What are people doing to prevent any snagging or tangling? Anyone using any kind of filament buffer system?
