Sorry I was not being very clear, and apparently I am being dense about this. My unit AutoHome's to near center of my build plate (have a CRTouch). So is the value entered in the GCode generator for Y value the distance it traverses in mm to get from the home position to the switch, or the max value 350 on an ender 3 build plate. Put a little different if the value related to the home position. ie. it moves 78mm to get to the switch or do I just move the y until the switch triggers and then goto the Info screen on my ender to see what value it is showing for y at that point?

I ended up using the generic bracket and mounted on the y axis and drilled out a hole so the bracket sits over the screw holding the y tensioning bracket. fits like a glove.

I made this Thang to maybe help with this issue. https://thangs.com/mythangs/file/792384 The idea is it screws into the Dual Gear extruder (you might have to close the spring slightly). The the spacer passes the z rod and the end can accept your Bowden coupler. The bowden tube should flow all the way through this device. It is still a work in progress and it is suggested to print at .08 for the thread detail. Hope maybe it helps someone.

I did not think through the 180 degree spin. While the unit fits nicely with access to both the holes for bowden fittings. You will have to make a firmware change to reverse the direction of the extruder. Which is probably not worth it. Since there is a remote possibly the filling and un-filling of filament could possibly miss the entrance hole on the other side. Back to the drawing board.

I printed all the ender mounts and it is combination of things. The z axis is definitely in the way. In addition, with the dual gear extruder the filament whole is not really aligning with the other side. My tinkercad skills are weak, I did see the not of using a hole to current out more. I fear I would have to cutout into the bowden tube hole or extremely close. If I have some time. I will try and share my results.

I have the same issue with my ender 3 pro and the dual gear extruder with bowden tube setup. I am thinking of turning the extruder 90 or 180 degrees. Not sure of the potential risk. I will post what I find in testing.

So are the length of the ptfe tubes the unit is shipped with can be modified without issue. Meaning it could be shortened, it would just need to be be long enough to reach from the placement of the stock extruder to the chameleon with enough slack to reach all parts of the x and z movement? Similair to a bowden tube needing to be about 14 inches for good range and decent loop.
