I purchased my 3D Chameleon a couple of months ago, and haven't really been able to get it to work. My T1 seems to skip a whole lot, so I've tried to use T2 and T3 instead. However, whether I'm manually pushing the button to load and unload, or if the g-code does it when trying to print, it seems that the shorter press to unload the filament actually loads it, and the longer press to load the filament actually unloads it. So I'm in a position where T0 works as intended, T1 skips and is unusable, and T2 and T3 don't work as intended. Instead of multi-color, I still only have access to print one color. What can I do to fix these issues? Thanks! Clara

Loading Issues on Ender 3

I just got my 3D Chameleon, and I'm having a really hard time getting it to load filament during printing. I have it set up on an Ender 3, and did the measurements and used the G-Code generator for Cura. I did have to rotate the extruder 90 degrees to get it to fit because the z axis rod was in the way. Everything appears to work right up until the filament is supposed to exit the extruder and go into the hotend. For some reason I can't ever get it to go cleanly out of the extruder, it always gets stuck. I've tried it with different filaments and it never loads into the hotend when attempting to print. I have another issue with the second extruder seeming to slip when loading and unloading filament, but I don't know if that is going to be an issue during printing or not yet. Here are some pictures of how I have this set up, happy to upload anything else that might help diagnose this. Thanks!

Questions on Firmware

In Getting Started

I've looked around the forums and haven't seen anything regarding this, so I hope I'm not asking a duplicate question. My wife has said that I can purchase my 3D Chameleon in 4 days, and I'm so excited! I'm fairly new to 3D printing, just got my first printer for Christmas (the Ender 3). I've recently learned to compile my own Marlin firmware for it, and was wondering if there were any firmware changes that could help the 3D Chameleon. I know from reading that it isn't required, but is there anything to gain there? Meanwhile I'm off to learn PrusaSlicer because I started with Cura!
