Flashforge AD5M/Pro Clippy

Made a mount for the AD5M for clippy. I’ll upload it later today and post a link. Got a couple refinements I want to do first

Took a few extra days but the refinements were worth it to me. I’ve remixed the ender mount for the unit so it mounts to where the spool holder mounted on the AD5M since I wouldn’t be using the spool holder. Should work with the spool holder screws but I haven’t tried them I replaced them with some slightly longer screws m3x8.

I also remixed the switch holder. It mounts to the top left rail. The only hardware needed is the screws that attach the switch to the holder that came with the unit. They act as set screws. Also has a hole in the bottom of the mount if you wanted to add an additional m3 set screw. The switch is located in a position where the print head has no chance of contacting it during leveling, I’ll post the 3 possible mount positions this afternoon, and chances of accidentally hitting it during print is super highly unlikely but not impossible. It does require that you use the clippy mount I designed in order to work.

The clippy mount is a near perfect fit if not perfect. No hardware required to mount it. It just snaps on and holds tight. Easy to remove if needed. To install it tilt it backwards a little at first so the clips go over the backside first the push down.

The unit mount can be printed as is no supports needed

The switch mount can be printed as is no supports needed but I do suggest using mouse ears at a minimum.

The clippy mount print as is. Supports are required. I printed it just using the auto tree supports with no issues.

You can find them on tinkercad. Search for 3dchameleon or 3dc.
