Clippy doesn’t seem to cut through first try
I installed a 25kg servo and I also installed the buck converter. The servo voltage calls for 4.8-6.8. I set the buck converter to 6.4 volts. The trouble is it doesn’t seem to cut through the filament (pla) every time. I’ve tried several different blades and confirmed by hand that the cutting path is smooth and easy to push the cutter through.
I have the k1 speedy and I am running the mk4 firmware. I’ve also cut the 3 tabs on the 4 horn part. I’ve confirmed that the servo is held firmly in place in the mount as well. I’ve even held it on my hand to make sure and still the same result.
Any help would be great to make sure it cuts every single time.

i figured out my issue. For some reason when I printed the mount for the servo the opening for where the blade goes in was a little too narrow it caused the blade to have alot of drag/tension as the blade went in/out. I since fixed that and printed another one and it works fine now. I also want to note that on the K1 speedy and maybe k1c, the filament cutter gets in the way of the print head homing properly because the cutter sticks out enough so that it hits that top rim of the printer body. I took your design and redesigned it in tinker cad and it now no longer touches the body and it homes properly. Im not sure if you had this issue or noticed this being a problem?
