Direct Drive Mode?

I was reading on the website under the MK3 GCode generator and read that you can set up as a Direct drive mode. Beneath are the exact words used.

"Direct Drive Mode - Where the 3D Chameleon is replacing your stock extruder (but using the stock motor and wiring) and all filament motions or pauses are skipped to allow stock extruder commands to move the filament."

Does anyone know more about this and how to set it up? I am using the default installation method on my ender 3 but I am having trouble getting it to load and unload properly. It will send the filament to the extruder but my extruder wont grab the filament. I was hoping if I could just bypass my extruder altogether and use the chameleon and the extruder it would be a lot simpler. Not sure if its possible just thought I would ask.

Would you have a profile for an Ender 5? I'm trying to do the same
