Help with Filament feed into the extruder

Does anybody know how to solve my Ender 3 pro extruder not catching filament? The 3D chameleon is working fine. It feeds it. But when the filament reaches the extruder gears it does not get pulled in. I appreciate a quick fix. I have spent way too long on this project 24 + hours, writing the gcode, modifying my ender 3 pro extruder mounting, and designing the 3D clippy.

Hello Bill,

Thank you for your response. I ended up buying a dual gear extruder and it solved this problem.

Now I am able to feed and retract but I am getting issues where the 3D chameleon is unable to retract the filament.

I suspect it is due to the 3D chameleon eating away at the filament due to partially mismatched timeings.

I appreciate your help, however, I have spent too much time on this and have bought a bambu labs a1 combo. :)

I'm sure the 3D chameleon works better out of the box with the newer printers.
