SV06 Plus Prusa Tool change code
Howdy Bill I’m back. i had already worked up a little flag of my own to go on the front. especially once I realized the front screws weren’t structural but just for the front plate I put my button there. it’s right at y 300.
when I use the code from your sv06 profile I am not getting the proper button presses and feeds. I changed the e location at the initial step and still nothing.
i used the generator to compare and did get the correct loads and unloads. I also quickly realized that code was only for non direct drive and got some nice little turd piles.
I did notice for some reason the generator did e297 instead of 300 and that was the one that worked. I of course then tried to adjust only that but still not getting the correct presses on the sv06 profile from the ini you uploaded.
any help or new profile to try would be appreciated!
The Y position in the Holding Location is the only one you need to change, not the E. As for the 297 to 300... that's correct... the holding location is always 3mm short of hitting the button... and the button press code will move it the final 3 mm during the press. If it's not hitting it at that 300mm mark, then you need to move the switch closer to the trigger flag. Basically, you can power it on, move it to 300mm... then manually move the switch until the flag is turned on. Bill
