Filament sticks in Y adapter randomly

I keep having issues with filament randomly getting stuck in the Y adapter. Sometimes it happens when retracting sometimes it happens when it's trying to feed up to the extruder. If I'm around when it happens I can grab the filament and help it along either way and it sometimes it's fine from them on sometimes an hour later it will do the same thing. I have adjusted the POTS to the 1oclock position. I have also loosened the screws on the Y slightly to make the travel path slightly larger. Nothing seems to help. What can I do to give this system enough guts to move the filament like it should without having to constantly babysit. This system is advertised as plug and play not babysitters club.

Bill,

Thanks for the explanation. I have printed the tuning sliders, but was unsure exactly how to change them. Do they need to be the same values on top and bottom? There are a total of 8 sliders 4 in each assembly. I know you want to make a video on this, I think it would be very helpful to the community.
