Retired my Prusa MMU's - Looking at new printers too

Hi, I have just stumbled across this cool looking gadget whilst looking at filament changer options for the latest round of printers that have recently become available (I currently have three Prusa i3Mk3's and discovered I can buy a new Bambu A1 Combo for about the same cost as upgrading them to Mk4's).

The ain job of two of my printers is printing educational resources, there is a single colour change half way through the print, hence the MMU's (recently upgraded to MMU3's), I have actually given up on the MMUs as it is less fuss and more reliable to do the filament change manually.

Then there is this 3D Chameleon thingy, will it behave better than the MMUs. or will I feel like throwing it off the top of the nearest tall building?

I will be replacing the Prusas in the next few months, options I have been looking at are the Bambu A1, Creality Ender 3 Mk3 Plus, Creality K1 Max, and the Anycubic Kobra 3. (I am leaning in the Ender 3 direction at the moment) Two main feature that I must have will be a larger build plate and auto calibration of the first layer, anything else is a bonus.

I am thinking of getting one of the 3D Chameleon to try on one of the Prusas first, anyone else used both the MMU and the Chameleon?

Thank you for that insight, I might charge forward with the printer replacements first as I will be guaranteed an improvement from those.
