Ender 3 v2|Micro Swiss NG

I have installed the Micro Swiss NG on my Ender 3 v2 along with the 3D Chameleon Mk3.

I followed along the install instructions.

Watched all the videos that I can find.

When I try to print no filament is being fed to the hot end.

I see the bed move and activate the 3d chameleon and see the gears move on the Micro Swiss NG

but no filament is fed through.

It seems like the 3d Chameleon is still gripping the filament and fighting with the Micro Swiss NG.

Is there some different Tool Change GCODE that I need in addition to what is provided from the Mode 3 Code generator?

Thank You

  1. Are you sure your 3DChameleon is operating in Mode 3?

I think it is. If I use the switch manually and do 7 pulses then I can do 1, 2, 3, or 4 pulses to select the relevant extruder then can pulse to load and unload.

2. Yes I was manually able to move all 4 filaments

3. I will try to disconnect the Y adapter and see if I can move the filament

4. I did not manually do 7 pulses at the start I did not know I had to do that. I will give that a try.

So I take it from what you say in question 3 that the GCODE will unlock the 3d chameleon extruder for the selected filament so that the Micro Swiss NG extruder takes over driving the filament?

Thank You for the fast response
