Chameleon as the extruder?

Currently, my E3P's extruder has some difficulties loading filament with too much bend. As the spool runs lower, the curve of the filament gets tighter and jams up in the fitting connecting the extruder to the Bowden tube. I can unbend by hand and things work fine. However, I'm worried the Chameleon won't be able to load filament if this continues.

Can the chameleon feed filament directly into the hot end without having a direct drive setup?

Yes, it's the most advanced installation possible, however, it's been done many times. Check out our YouTube channel and look for the Mk2 advanced playlist. It's basically the same installation we do on the Prusa Mini, which you can also see in our videos.
