Extruder to hot end distance
Back with another stupid question for the group. I watched a couple videos explaining the g code generator, but I've noticed he has a drastically longer extruder to hotend distance than I think I have, so I'm just trying to double check.
I have the 3D clippy attached to my SOVOL SV06, and All of my filaments are fed down to about 1 inch from the y adapter. Am I measuring the distance from the chameleon extruder to the hot end or from my SV06 extruder to my hot end? Even if I use my chameleon extruder, I'm still quite a bit shorter than some of the distances used in the videos
PS: does the generated g code include the code for the 3D clippy to zero the x-axis to perform a cut on the filament? Again, extremely stupid and blindly feeling my way through a lot of this as I go, so I appreciate the forum existing 😂

Since it has the direct drive, do you have a preference to run in loader/unloader mode, or direct drive mode? I know the guide says the direct drive mode is a more difficult installation, so that probably means more questions from me.
