anything I should know
I'm thinking of getting the 3d chameleon for my ender 3 v2 but so far I can't find anything saying if I need anything before I get the 3d chameleon or if I need to set up stuff first before I buy the kit. And also would I be able to choose a certain area of a print to change colors instead of the whole layer?

Yep... Cura, Simplify 3D, PrusaSlicer and Kiri:Moto are all supported slicers, however, we recommend PrusaSlicer as they actually use color printing and fully support it in their product line. They also allow "painting" colors directly onto models.
