I have finally gotten to the point for a test print. I set up prusa slicer with all the appropriate settings and entered the tool change gcode. My problem is my switch is mounted outside the print area at X 248 but the sliced file wont send the nozzle that far over, even when I adjust the print limits inside of the slicer to 300mm it still stops at X 235.
I am on an ender 3 pro. When I send the tool change gcode to the printer manually via octoprint terminal the print head moves over to X248 and changes the filament without a problem.
Forgive me I am a prusa slicer noob. I must be missing something within the slicing software
Before the cleaning session, they sent a detailed quote outlining what would be done. I was able house cleaning service Kitchener-Waterloo to customize the services I wanted, which allowed me to fit it comfortably into my budget.
You most likely have soft limits enabled in your profile. In order to get to that area, you need to turn them off. You can add the M211 S0 command at the top of the tool change gcode to disable soft limits, and then reenable them at the end with M211 S1. Here's the command documentation for reference: https://marlinfw.org/docs/gcode/M211.html
