SVO6 Plus

The Printables listing for the SV06 and SV06 Plus seem to suggest that the Prusaslicer profile is already setup when using the 3DClippy. However, as the tool change gcode sits, it never triggers the "button" and never loads the filament. The SV06 Plus flag bearing housing is located on the back left and the button is triggered at Y300. No matter what you put in the folllowing line (G0 X20 Y217 F2000 ; <<----- EDIT THIS LINE TO SET THE INITIAL LOCATION OF THE BUTTON - note the new X for holding for cut), it never hits the button. Print starts with no filament loaded.

Your idle position should be Y297. And the switch should trigger at Y300 when the switch is positioned correctly.

If it's not there, you need to move it so it can hit it at Y300. Make sure you home it first so it has a valid reference.

The probing hitting the button shouldn't affect anything because the command won't be valid. But after your G29, you just need to make sure it moves away from the button before it continues.

It does move away and then does this....Then, when the print starts, it waits at the Y297 hold position and then hits the switch (pausing for 3 seconds), the 3D Chameleon stepper(s) grinds and the filament never loads. It doesn't seem like it likes the 3-second pause.

During a print, the filament never loads. However, if I am running through testing...it loads just fine.

So, are you counting the pulses? You need to adjust the timing of the pause to get the right number of pulses... 3 seconds depends on a specific distance and speed of motion. You need to tweak it to match your specific machine.

Also, make sure you're in the proper mode... If you're in Mode 1, then it won't move the filament afterwards... You need to be in Mode 2 for it to move the filament automatically... And Mode 3 requires an additional button press for each filament movement.

Can you send me your GCode file you're trying to print? I can look at it to see if the sequence looks good.
