Hello, if anyone is able to help that would be amazing.
I'm setting up my 3d Chameleon, I've had some issues that I've been able to fix, but not this one has stumped me, Colours going into tubes #1 (White) and # 3 (Green) extrudes good, #2 (Black) gets a little stuck, #4 (Red) doesn't move at all. I am able to move the filament in all tubes via hand, and pushing on the filament in #2 as it is extruding helps it through. Nothing I try helps #4 through.
I've provided a video to try to help.
Any help would be greatly Appreciated.
Ok... not sure of which color is in which extruder... but I see a couple of things. One, the black's tip might be a little too big... but in reality, I think the tension on that one is a little low. Take a look at our tension adjusters and maybe print one that has more spring tension applied to it. See here: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/0JBXWmRAdxn-3dchameleon-mk3-tension-tuning-sliders The default tensioners are in the middle... moving up increases the tension. You can also move the bearing closer or farther away from the drive gears, which can help as well. Next, make sure the drive gears are properly aligned with the filament. If you took it apart, make sure you've placed the spacer back between the extruder motor and that side of the 3DChameleon, it's critical for alignment. See here:
One other thing, some of our electronics escaped our shop without getting the proper motor current set. Look in your electronics to see if the small pots have been properly set at about the 1 o'clock position, from the default 12 o'clock position. See here:
Lastly, the older Mk2 (identifiable by the exposed bearings on the end of the unit) has a failure point on the "B" parts... the flexure (spring) can sometimes break if an unexpected force was encountered during homing or color changes. Look for breaks in the plastic at the edges that hold the flexure in place. If so, reprint them from here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5181728
