I'm pretty sure in some of the videos leading up to the Mk4 release there was talk that with the Mk4 there wouldn't be a need to measure distances from Y adapter, extruder to hot-end etc. I'm frankly having difficulty with the measurements so would prefer this type of setup. How far out are we from that being released? I may simply wait if it's a reasonable time. If however I misremember/misheard about that I'll keep fighting my way through. If anyone could give me the distance from the extruder to the stock hotend on a Creality K1 that'd be helpful too. Additionally because of some physical limitations I have it's hard to get the timing for loading the filaments from Y to extruder so any suggestions or ways I can manage that would be helpful. I measured the bowden tube (23") hoping that would be close enough, but it seems like I'm still running into issues.

It'll be released when it's done. ;-) I'm still working through the code on it. As for distance from the extruder to the hot end, you're saying it's stock, if that's the case, the distance is already in our stock profile from Printables. That's a test file that's been proven to work. The only variable is the distance between the Y adapter and the extruder. As long as your distance is shorter that our measurements, then it'll work. For example, the tube is 16" + 10" for the Y adapter, then 26" will work... as will 28 or 30... it'll run a little longer, but will work just fine. So, over estimate it instead of underestimating it. On first load, it might grind a little, but once you're past the first unload, it'll back out the loading point for all future loads.
