Still have not been successful printing with this yet. The bowden extruder part of this setup doesn't seem to have enough power to push the filament. If I take the green splitter off it can push filament through. But the slightest little bit of friction (practically nothing) results in the filament stopping. Are there any adjustments that can be made? If not, then this is not usable.

These are the springs we use: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BNNHF9K
What size are the springs. I keep trying to put them in, they then spring loose in random directions. Been trying to put them in for hours, most of the time looking for the last one that escaped. Doesn't help that I shake.
I think a different slider might do the trick. Do you recommend PLA, PETG, ABS, etc to print the new slider?
Can you snap a picture of it. Do you have the latest parts with the sliding components?
Filament is lined up. My part B looks nothing like your part B. It doesn't appear to be broken though. Did the 25 second thing. Still doesn't work. What else ya got? Electronically it is trying. The filament just does not cooperate.
Ok... the issue is more than likely it needs more grip on the filament. There are three major causes of that. One, the selector is not properly aligned. To reset it, hold the button for about 25 seconds and release it. You should see the selector vibrate 3 times, which will reset it to the proper position.
Two, the drive gears are either loose or not properly aligned. If you look in the tubes, you should be able to see if the drive gear is in alignment with the filament path... if it is too high or low, it will not allow the gear to properly grip the filament. Here's a quick drawing of what to look for:
The quick fix is to simply use a 1.5mm Allen wrench to move the drive gears on the shaft to their proper alignment.
And finally, the third possibility is that the B part has broken. If too much force is applied to it, the B part can break at the selector side. (We call that the flexure.) If that's the case, you can print a new one here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5181728
