Does anybody know how to solve my Ender 3 pro extruder not catching filament? The 3D chameleon is working fine. It feeds it. But when the filament reaches the extruder gears it does not get pulled in. I appreciate a quick fix. I have spent way too long on this project 24 + hours, writing the gcode, modifying my ender 3 pro extruder mounting, and designing the 3D clippy.

Can you confirm that the extruder motor is actually starting up before the filament reaches it? If it isn't, that timing needs to be adjusted. Also, you can manually test that the tension is correct by starting up the extruder and just feeding (without pushing) the filament into the extruder... it should just pull it in if the filament touches the drive gears.
Lastly, I'd highly recommend a new extruder... the stock Creality extruder is a piece of junk. The plastic parts they use WILL break and will cause you all kinds of issues. I highly recommend using a cheap BMG clone in it's place... and works very reliably with the 3DChameleon feeding it without issues.
