Hi all, So I've have the 3d Chameleon for a few months now and had a hell of a time setting it up originally. Now that I have the MK4 firmware and a screen this seems like a much easier task now.
One of my previous issues I had was the filaments would get jammed in the tubing or not properly go through the extruder, causing the drive gear to strip the filament. I'm wondering if maybe my setup is incorrect, but I did also get the parts for an auto clippy but have no idea where to mount it.
My printer is a LK1 "Frankenstein" and I have a Sprite Pro Extruder. I'd like to avoid if possible of putting the Y on the extruder because I think thats where auto clippy would go. Does anyone have any advice or tips?
I managed to print them but the recommended servo goes the opposite way and none of the horns fit correctly. I'm also super confusing on what blade and how to insert it.
There is a Digital 3DClippy for the Sprite developed by Matthew here: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/2BoJY2VfoV6-digital-3d-clippy-for-sprite-extruder Notice it has the stand for the Y adapter as well, which I highly recommend using. It'll be right on the 3DClippy, so you have the best of both worlds.
