From CURA to PrusaSlicer - HOW?

Hello everyone- I’m looking to purchase the MK3 for my new Creality S1 Pro (I have a large CR-10 S5 and love it also).

But before I push the button to purchase I thought I’d have a little look at the software side of things…….

so I’ve just loaded my MAC with the latest PrusaSlicer (ive only ever used CURA before) and am totally lost !

Right from the start is asks you what printer(s) you have - none of mine listed so skipped…..then looking around then how do you set it up? Where do you pop the MK3 gcode? - how do you instruct it to change colours (yup I’m English! and in the UK)……

sorry don’t mean to be thick….help!! :/

In PrusaSlicer, you can simply select the Creality S1 Pro (in the latest version, it's still Beta) from the list of Creality FFF printers. From there, you can simply follow this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPQmSkrj3yk

one last question…. how do I interface the Chameleon to the “sprite” extruder…… little confused about how normally you press the release bar to get the filament out and how the Chameleon with deal with this?-if that kinda makes sense?-or if it doesn’t need to?

The tool change gcode will automatically use the Sprite to extract the filament... all you have to do is drive it out backwards and it will eject it... from there, the 3D Chameleon will pull it the rest of the way.
