I'm having problems with the stock extruder on an Ender 3 Pro. The filament enters fine, but it misses the exit hole. It either curls around the tension wheel like in the picture or just jams. I've also tried replacing it with the Ender 5 extruder and have the same problem.
When I manually feed the filament I have no issues feeding it through.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
It looks like that might just work. Tested it a few times with no jams. I'll follow up one more time once I finish getting it going. For anyone that has the same problem, a quick warning: a lot of people in the comments of that remix found the hole for the connector to be a little too small. I did as well, but was able to force thread it with some elbow grease.
The E3 Pro doesn't have a way to adjust tension, the only way I could adjust it would be to start swapping out springs. But since I don't have a collection of springs handy that's not an option. That link looks like it might solve it though. In the remixes there's a fully printed version. I don't have a lot of extra PTFE tube lying around so I'll try the remix first. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3844646
Can you adjust the tension on that extruder? This reminds me of the old Chep (Chuck Hellebyuck) video where he had issues with flexible filaments. He found and printed an upgrade that had a piece of PTFE tube in it to help guide it better... perhaps that will work. Here it is: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2144277
