I’m sure I’ve done something wrong installing clippy. I’ve got everything working, I’ve homed the servo but when I perform a cut it pulls back on the blade then pushes it in instead of pushing in then pulling out
I’m using a remix of your design but now that I’m thinking about it the way it mounts to my printer is the issue. I’ll flip the design instead of changing the firmware unless there’s an advantage to upgrading at this point in which case will be a few days my arduino hasn’t made it in yet
Did you update the firmware? There are two different directions of it for direction and two different versions of each for the distance it moves. 180, 180 reversed, 270 and 270 reversed. If your servo is a 180, start with the normal and if it's still backwards, use the 180 reversed.
No I assumed, yes I know, it came with the what would be needed for the items you had linked to in the getting started info. I’ll update this afternoon thx
I might add, if you just mirror that design, it will flip the direction.
Bill
Does this design work with the metal arm or is it only the other design that’s in red
