3DClippy blade not cutting

Hello! I printed a 3DClippy for my ender 3 v2 and when assembled, the blade (correct snapoff blade from kit) does not reach far enough down to the filament to cut it. I have to lift the 3dclippy arm up to push it farther than the 3dclippy body will allow, in order to cut the filament.

I’ve tried flipping the blade and superglue on the blade but probably not in the right way

What size snap off blade is used? Also is it ok to use the serrated version. I went to big box hardware and only saw the serrated version of the snap off blades.

Went to Harbour Freight and got the 18mm replacement blades. The snapped section fits correclty than the 9mm version.

Fixed! for future readers - Had to reprint the blade holder and orient the blade correctly (there is a small slit on the angled side, meant for the blade corner to poke through. Didn't see it when I printed the 3DClippy in black)

Don’t want to pull it out again but if you look at the slicer preview for the blade holder, you’ll see one of the sides has a little slit in it near the end where the screw goes through, that’s where the pointy end goes on the non blade side of the blade. It’s made to fit a certain way and pushed to a certain side in the holder but once I got it correct and superglued my blade in I started getting (mostly) really accurate cuts.

I did also find I needed to edit the cutting code a bit, I changed the 2mm tip pull off movement after cutting the the filament to 4mm, and I moved that line of code to when the gantry was still holding the blade down instead of after it’s released, too
