I have printed the 3D Clippy and used it on my Ender 3 v2.
It is a great tool and has helped a lot.
However the part of the clippy where the blade fits keeps breaking off.
Image below.
I have seen a print for a filament cutter that uses a servo and an arduino nano.

I have also watched the video for the Mk4 Chameleon and saw the new filament cutter, I wat one of those :-)
What are your thoughts?
Thank You
Well, you'll need to wait for our Auto 3DClippy... we'll be releasing details on it in April.
As for yours breaking... you need to make sure two things... the lever is long enough to get a good torque multiplier on the cutter and you need to make sure you print it 100% infill in a good solid material like PLA. Also, the orientation will help that a lot... don't print it so the layer lines are through that hole... print it such that the printer makes a complete circle around that hole as a continuous loop of filament.
