I was following the basic installation directions below and I got to step 4 and no combination of button presses or holding makes the filament continue to feed. It will auto unload 5 seconds or so then feed 5 seconds or so of its own accord after a button press but not continue to feed while the button is held so I can time the path to the extruder. Has there been a firmware update and the button combo's changed maybe or am I just bad at following directions ? I also watched some YT videos that said to press the button for 1,2,3,4 vibrations to select the filament then to hold for 5 seconds to initiate feeding but that didn't seem to work out either, maybe an old video for outdated firmware IDK.
On a side note. seems weird to have to put the feed time into the gcode generator I mean probably it should just feed for 10 seconds after some button press then measure the filament extruded ( like an extruder step adjustment test) then type in the mm extruded and the length from the y adaptor to the printers extruder. Would make more since bcause we already had to take the length measurement for the code generator. would be better than trying to time something in any case.

Oh the way you were talking in the video i thought the flyer had a list of accessories and maybe links to the parts and docs and stuff to build them as you mentioned they were all open source. It's ok I have the cart before the horse anyways gotta get the 3D chameleon working basically before i need any accessories added to the mix. I was maybe just the flyer.
I saw a YT with you showing a lot of the mk4 options and a booklet with information printed out is this available yet?
thank you.
after 10 pulses It responds with 3 pulses. I just got this on Tuesday so should be current firmware unless they are being shipped out with old firmware.
What happens when you
Press and Hold for 10 pulses? If it responds with vibrations, then you're in the correct mode. If so, then you have an earlier firmware. If it responds with 1 or 2 pulses, just do it again to cycle through until it responds with 3.
You can optionally update it to the latest firmware.
